The AC-X will run over 3 months and be a combination of the businesses working independently with support from their mentor and a number of seminars, speaking events and workshops.

Where we are based?
AC-X is based at the Enterprise Centre located at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, Norfolk.
The Enterprise Centre is Britain's greenest building and one of the most sustainable buildings in Europe and provides an exciting and dynamic work space for AC-X participants. The Enterprise Centre is specifically designed for small and medium enterprises and offers versatile spaces to be used for collaboration, events and independent working. AC-X are excited to work with the Enterprise Centre and we hope our programme participants will thrive in its supportive and creative environment.
What is AC-X?
AC-X, the Adapt Cocoon Accelerator, is an accelerator programme designed to assist early stage business in the green-tech sector in realising their potential in the UK and Asian markets. AC-X is run by the Adapt Low Carbon Group, a UK leading firm in low carbon innovation and equity funding, and Cocoon Networks, a start-up network with its rooting in the Chinese market dedicated to supporting ambitious entrepreneurs worldwide.
Background
Adapt Low Carbon Group brings together a broad range of expertise and experience in the low carbon sector. Through our Low Carbon Innovation Fund we have provided equity investments in low carbon companies since 2010. The Adapt Low Carbon Group is committed to supporting the low carbon and green economy through a number of financial support models.
Who is AC-X for?
AC-X is a 3 month programme designed for seed stage and start-up businesses looking to grow their business through, training, mentoring, access to capital and support to expand to the Chinese markets. The accelerator programme is specifically targeting any start-up companies in the green-tech sector with big ambitions and a strong commercial potential.
Each business applying to AC-X is assessed on its business case and growth potential as well as potential expansion and technology application in the Chinese market. 5-10 companies are accepted into the accelerator every 3 months and receive investment as well as office space, training and mentoring.
Businesses applying to AC-X need to base at least part of their operation at the Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, for the duration of the programme.
